cruuser
Hi all, I would like to purchase a copy of Pyschonauts for PC for North America. No major retailer seems to have it, and Double Fine's online store doesn't have any stock (though it seems they have new stock of the European PC version). The only place that I could find them are on eBay for $8.99 US, less than a third of the cost on Double Fine's online store. But I'm worried that they are pirated copies. Does any one know what major retailers (preferably those have online or physical stores in Canada) have the game in stock (or at least willing to order it)? Has any one bought from eBay and got a licensed copy, and if so who was the copy bought from? Many thanks for your help. Cruuser

Cruuser I just checked Ebay, and the ones for $8.99 are definitely not pirated. I'd only be worried if the seller had a low rating, but the feedback score and amount of transactions (over 10,000) seem to be checking out. I'd just go for it. cruuser
Hi ValeriePF, You have a point. I'm also thinking if I pay with a credit card then I should be able to claim for a refund if something is wrong. I'll also write to Double Fine to see if they'll make download version of their game available. Afterall, other vendors has the option, e.g. Corel with their illustration and painting programs. Thanks again.
