Lucho
I am getting a new pc this week and I need to no if I can take and save my saved games and put them back into the game when I get the new pc? I have looked every where and dont seem to be able to find where the games are saved? Anyone able to help? thx What you need is a small file called "temp.rec" but I'm not sure ( I think so cause when i uninstalled EAW the setup asked me if i want to save my setting changes and saved games and this is the file which is not deleted). Ah, yeh there is another file, " Exception.txt" but i'm not sure about it.
DarthMuffin
I doubt the saves are all in the temp.rec file. But who knows. You try try removing it and see if your saves are still there when you launch the game. You could also try using the search function and search for a save you know the name. Browsing around with the option to see hidden files and folders might also get you something.
popcorn2008
No, the save games are located here: C:\Documents and Settings\(USERNAME)\Application Data\Petroglyph\Empire At War\Save Replace (USERNAME) with your username in Windows XP. There ya go. This belongs in tech support as well.
