Spoiler bars

This may be a question with an obvious answer, but here goes. I know how to read the whited out "spoiler" sections of posts, but can't figure out how to create them. Could anybody help me out here?

Well in order to make a spoiler tag do this:

 

 
[spoiler]Put the Text here.[/spoiler]
 

 

This makes:

 

Put the Text here.
