toms
Well, either my connection is playing up or their website is slow as hell so i only got to watch the first half of the clip. Seems to me that its not congress who don't know about video games. (well, that is true too, but not the point). Its the pentagon giving blatantly rubbish evidence to congress. While its true that most congressmen only seem to have time for things that their funders want... they also can't all be experts on everything. Much like the media their accuracy tends to depend on what information is fed to them. Unfortunately much of that information comes from biased sources, with a vested interest in convincing congress of their point of view. Seriously though, does the pentagon ever get any intelligence RIGHT these days??? [edit] finally got to the end. Its nice to see a story on the news that isn't just anti-gaming propoganda. I wonder if one of the journalists was a battlefield 2 player and thats how they spotted it? Otherwise i'd have just expected another anti-videogame piece regurgitating the views of the "experts". Shame it looks like it was only on their online edition, not the real news.
