KittyMonster
Hi there. I've been playing Grim Fandango since it first came out (I think I'm on my 5th time playing it, now...) and this is my first time coming across this problem. Essentially, I'm at the Edge of the World and I've completed everything related to Meche-on-the-beach, I just have to talk to talk to Glottis on the Lambada. Unfortunately, every time I climb down the chain, as soon as the scene has switched and I'm on the boat Manny is climbing back up the chain. I've tried jamming as many keys as possible to get him moving in a different direction, to no avail. I've read through the first page of your FAQ section, and I haven't seen anyone else with this problem (and to be honest, reading through 6 more pages of messages didn't sound too appealing, but we'll see how desperate I get!) but does anyone know how to fix this? Could this be related to my processing speed (first time running the game on my new computer)? Thanks a lot for any help you guys give me! Cheers. Smon
It is processing speed, I had the same problem. Try CPU-Killer.
KittyMonster
Wow, I feel really silly I tried again with several programs open right after I posted my previous message and it worked! >< Thank you for your help though, Simon. Talk about Murphy's Law.
