A little help; stuck on Peragus station. [spoilers, just in case]

I've come across a bug that won't let me advanced further in the plot. I'm at the point right after Kreia runs off and meets Sion and Atton and I continue on, but I come across a problem when I am supposed to recruit T3-M4. I never actually recruit the droid, but the game acts as if I have since Atton goes into the dialog about how I found him, and my journal updates with an entry saying I found him. According to walkthroughs and FAQs, T3-M4 is supposed to be in my party, but if I try to continue on to the next area, Peragus Docking Station, the game loads up and brings me back to the main menu. I've already tried to load up a prior save and play from there, but the same thing happens; I can't seem to trigger the real T3-M4 sequence. Any help?

 

I should mention that I do have a couple mods installed, but I'm doubtful that they would interfere in game scripts such as this. Still, worth mentioning. I'm here to offer any more information needed.

 

I also have a little more to add:

 

When I look at my party menu screen, the panel that is supposed to show T3 shows text "I am very very broken (or somethign along those lines) when I click it.

 

I've also tried to use the KOTOR/TSL Save Editor to try and add T3 to my party, but that didn't work. When I look in the NPC subtree of my save, however, I find Atton, Kreia, and a Bad StrRef. I don't know what this Bad StrRef is, but I have a feeling it might have somehting to do with this glitch. I've tried to modify some of the data to try to manually change it to T3-M4, but it wouldn't allow me to write changes.

Which mods do you have installed? It sounds like T3M4 isn't in the location it should be for some reason, which might cause adding it to the party to fail. I'd suspect either that your savegame has become corrupt somehow (have you edited it outside of the game?) or that some mod interferes with the peragus scenes (possibly due to some naming conflict with modified files).
