Char Ell
Nice post, DarthMaulUK! Do you know when will part 2 be available? So LEC currently has two internal development teams and Jim Ward wants to increase LEC's internal studio capability. Very interesting...

Char Ell
Anyone notice Jim Ward mentioned LEC will develop games for all of the next-gen consoles and handhelds but doesn't say anything about PC? Maybe he just forgot... *sniff* Anyway, I'm not sure if Mr. Ward meant that LEC will develop most of their titles to play on multiple platforms or that titles will be developed for all platforms. At least Mr. Ward seems cognizant of the fact that the three next-gen consoles are very different, especially Nintendo's next-gen. I think we'll just have to wait and see if LEC is able to make good on Jim Ward's vision. I do like the idea of the cross-platform interplayability over the Internet. I think PC's will always be a challenge as far as using cheats and exploits though. It would suck to be a console gamer facing off against an opponent using a PC and keep getting your butt kicked because the PC guy is using a cheat. coupes.
Quite an interesting interview, thanks for that DMUK. What I really want to see is Lucasarts' new technology about virtual molecular matter and their Ai system.
