DylanMay
I'm sure people have wondered this before, but where is Whispering Rock located? I was looking at maps of where cougars and grizzly bears are in the States, and it's mostly in the northwest, like Montana and stuff. But Whispering Rock doesn't seem very, uh, north-westy, to me anyway. I was just happy to apply the little cougar territory maps to something. Sooo... thoughts on this? Poopdogjr
Yea, I always figured the same. It just sort of gives off that vibe. I'm not sure where else it could have been. It almost makes me wish I went away to a summer camp now. It proabably would have been alot of fun.
Digitaldreamer
I think it's North West. Lili did say her home was on the East coast, which seems to imply they're fairly far from there. Also, note that even though it's a summer camp, most of the kids are wearing long-sleeves, sweaters, etc. This seems to suggest it's kind of chilly up there...or it does to me, anyway. So I'm guessing somewhere around the North West. And then there was the miners skull. Cause they...er...mined...in the west....I think. ...Yeah. Miss_Mayhem
I've theorized somewhere near San Francisco (it may be a nod to the location of DFstudios which is in SanFran). It's rather chilly there, even in summer. Or perhaps enough to warrant long-sleeves. There are still some bears in northern California, and you may have not heard of it but we got plenty of cougars too. I dont know much about the cougars, most of the attacks I've heard of are near Orange County and Malibu, but I wouldnt be too surprised if you could find them further up north. Plus the vegetation in the game kinda fits the desciption, though rather loosely.
Tarkya
Whispering Rock is indeed "north-westy", as you put it. I would know, I live in the Northwest. Although frankly, it must not be my part of the Northwest, because it gets into the 70s in the summer. No wearing sweaters there! Unless, of course, it's one of those wierd summers. Ray_the_psychic
i don't wanna guess because it would be very hard to come up with a good answer. Now i wish we could answer this question. its gettin on me nerves. i think it's northwest-y-ish-like. Yeah somewhere in there.
