Story about your clan: The Orbital Drop Shock Troopers were first started by Vile and Drizzt in August of 2006, who grew bored of all the politics and arguments that arose with other clans and decided to make their own. ODST was envisioned as a clan where everyone was welcome, and talent did not determine who was important and who was not in the clan. ODST is a phrase that originally comes from Eric Nylund's, "Fall Of Reach," a book based on the ever popular Halo game series. The story goes that before ODST, planetary engagements with the Covenant went very badly. Although the UNSC could get carriers into the orbit of the planet with reinforcements, by the time they got to the surface the battle was lost. Soon enough, the UNSC rectifyed this issue. They invented a sort of titanium egg. The soldier would get into the egg and be shot off the ship toward the planet. The titanium would protect them from the heat of the atmosphere, most of the time. Sometimes the heat in the egg would become fatal, killing the soldier. Thus, the Orbital Drop Shock Troopers were formed and made an all volunteer outfit.
