MtBlanc Posted January 21, 2001 Posted January 21, 2001 Which signature is better? This one: ------------------
MtBlanc Posted January 21, 2001 Author Posted January 21, 2001 Or this one: I know both are pretty crappy, but they're so equally crappy, I'm not sure which is better. ------------------ [This message has been edited by Dinghy Dog (edited January 21, 2001).]
Dec Ryan Posted January 21, 2001 Posted January 21, 2001 Yep, the 1st one. ------------------ Dec Ryan The Longest Journey Fans Forum End of the Journey "Make like a jellyfish and dry up on the beach!"
MtBlanc Posted January 22, 2001 Author Posted January 22, 2001 Thanks guys. Should it remain in grayscale or should I make it color? Grayscale almost seems like it has a film-noir effect to it, very Grim Fandango-esque, but color might make it more interesting.
Dec Ryan Posted January 22, 2001 Posted January 22, 2001 After you colorize it, post it again here so we can decide which one better ------------------ Dec Ryan The Longest Journey Fans Forum End of the Journey "Make like a jellyfish and dry up on the beach!"
MtBlanc Posted January 23, 2001 Author Posted January 23, 2001 Here it is with Dinghy colorized. I'm not sure if I like it better in color though. ------------------
Blondbeard Posted January 23, 2001 Posted January 23, 2001 I Liked it better in black and white ------------------
storken Posted January 23, 2001 Posted January 23, 2001 I think I liked it more in color......or maby gray......no i don't know. ------------------ /StoRkeN
TunaMurray1587246291 Posted January 24, 2001 Posted January 24, 2001 both the color and the black-n-White look good to me
MtBlanc Posted January 24, 2001 Author Posted January 24, 2001 Maybe this'll help all those who haven't decided. ------------------
Kid Posted January 24, 2001 Posted January 24, 2001 Its really hard to say, I'd have to go with the black and white
MtBlanc Posted January 24, 2001 Author Posted January 24, 2001 Here's my new one that I might be using just for a little bit, just to commerate my new status. Don't pick this one, I'll still be trying to decide on the previous ones and use them later. ------------------
Dec Ryan Posted January 24, 2001 Posted January 24, 2001 Why don't you colorize the text as well? In my opinion, if you use the b/w text, it's better that the image b/w as well. Colorize the text, and post it again here ------------------ Dec Ryan The Longest Journey Fans Forum End of the Journey "Make like a jellyfish and dry up on the beach!" storken Posted January 24, 2001 Posted January 24, 2001 I liked it best with colored dog, black backgrond & white text... ------------------ /StoRkeN
MtBlanc Posted January 25, 2001 Author Posted January 25, 2001 For those who want colorized text, what should it look like? I do agree that the white text adds to the black and white one, and I can see how it could look out of place on a color signature. I'm liking my three-headed monkey signature at the moment. ------------------
storken Posted January 25, 2001 Posted January 25, 2001 how about three-headed Dinghy Dog with black backgrond.
MtBlanc Posted January 25, 2001 Author Posted January 25, 2001 You mean like my newly created signature, except with a black background, or the old signatures with a couple more heads attatched?
Dec Ryan Posted January 25, 2001 Posted January 25, 2001 Just find a good color combination. Yellow text maybe? Try it first and post again here so we can decide which color combinations better ------------------ Dec Ryan The Longest Journey Fans Forum End of the Journey "Make like a jellyfish and dry up on the beach!"
MegaMonkey Posted January 28, 2001 Posted January 28, 2001 I agree with Dec Ryan. But I would love the three-headed Dinghy Dog in Black and White... really cool... I'm still trying to find a good sig... ------------------
Dec Ryan Posted January 29, 2001 Posted January 29, 2001 Your sig pic is good MegaMonkey. If I remember correctly there's a Mega Monkey graphics in the Curse of Monkey Island main menu, just before you start the game. Just a suggestion ------------------ Dec Ryan The Longest Journey Fans Forum End of the Journey "Make like a jellyfish and dry up on the beach!"
