yodadeciple96
When I try to enter the cave to "confront my past" inside the shyrack cave the game goes to a black screen and crashes to the desktop. I have not included specs of my cpu because I'm 100% sure this is a mod problem, I'm just not sure which one. I do have multiple mods installed, and they are installed in the correct order according to the mod authors. Does anyone know if there is a particular mod that interferes with this particular scene? It's a great part of the game and I am getting tired of having to skip it. Here is a list of mods I have installed: (USM, dustil recruit, vader launcher, schiamano's anakin head, skip peragus, modified AI, visas robe, high level force powers 2.0 and 2.1, sith assassins w/sabers) I have tried multiple troubleshooting steps with no success, including multiple saves, reinstalling in a new folder (advice from official website), and many others. Help I'm frustrated

yodadeciple96
Sorry, I forgot to mention the game was fully patched first before any mods were installed. Whats frustrating is I don't know which mod is conflicting with that scene. I've tried reinstalling the game 3 times, with it not allowing me in that cave every time. Edit: So is there anyone in KOTOR land that may have an answer to this? None of the mods I have installed, in my opinion, have anything in them that would cause a cutscene to crash. Any thoughts from RedHawke or any other experienced modder? I have combined your posts for you, please do not post to 'bump' your thread. If you have nay new content to add and you have the last post in a thread, please add it into your previous post. thanks. -RH
RedHawke
Any thoughts from RedHawke or any other experienced modder? You stated you are 100% sure the issue is with a mod... The only way you can see if it is a mod is to remove them all then see if the game progresses without the crash, if it does then re-install each mod, one at a time, until the issue happens again... that's about it. Sorry.
medickvhs
I'm curious if you've had any luck finding the culprit for the crash, I've had similar problems and can never seem to find it.
medickvhs
Seems I just found my culprit, the Holowan Plugin Patch! http://www.pcgamemods.com/mod/14599.html The one thing I never thought to try, until I realized it worked fine before the patch! Give it a shot, you may have the same luck!
