Achilles
Yeah, I heard that the other day on NPR. Interesting concept, but the piece itself was poorly produced. At this point, they're pretty much conceptualizing mathematical model for which this might be possible. Not necessarily what they were marketing, but definitely fun to think about! XoXoXAlexOxOxO
it reminded me of the episode of the simpsons where lisa grew a mini universe in a petry dish. anyway, i just thought it was neat
Achilles
If you're into that stuff, you should check out Science Friday on NPR (if you're not already). Every Friday from Noon till 2pm. In Phoenix, it's 91.5. Not sure what it is in Tucson. http://www.sciencefriday.com/ EDIT: KUAZ-AM: 1550 KUAZ-FM: 89.1 KUAT-FM: 90.5 KUAT-FM: 89.7 KJZZ-FM: 98.9 Not sure which of these work best, but they are all listed NPR providers for Tucson. I hope that helps.
Hayden Kered
I don't believe that it is possible. But if it were then one thing is for sure, we will all keep our universes tied around our pet's necks and give them zodiac names. CSI
"Build your own universe"? Not bad, but a dream far, far away... LDB: You mean this quote: "Galaxy is on Orion's (Or whatever it's called, correction would be appreciated.) belt"? That's funny, as Orion is a kind of Zodiac.
