What games are your priority nr 1 in the future?

I don't know if the subject is well put, but what I mean is: Are there any games that are almost desperate to get hold of, that comes out within the next 6-8 months? There are particularly three games that I just can't wait to play. These are Metal Gear Solid 2, Gran Turismo 3 and Final Fantasy X! Of course, I plan to buy Monkey 4 on PS2 too, but I don't give that one a higher priority than for instance Gran Turismo 3 that comes out just about the same time.

Which games do look forward to the most?

Black and White looks amazing, but the upcoming LucasArts titles Star Wars: Battleground and Star Wars: Galaxies look nice. (Neither of which will be in the next 6-8 though :\)

Team Fortress 2 is a for sure if/when it ever comes out.

The companies that make good games spend half of there budget on useless crap such as commercials. If they would stop doing that, the games wouldn't be so expensive and i would buy them.

Better to copy one good game than to buy one bad game

Commercials are a part of the marketing strategy. And without marketing, the users won't know about the product. Commercials are not useless. They don't only try to convince us to buy the product, but the also tell us about it, so that we actually know that the product exists. I don't know, but I certainly copied quite a few games that I never heard of before, when I was into it. Those wouldn't sell because of bad marketing. Microsoft wouldn't be very far today without commercials and marketing... I'm sorry if you think otherwise.

(Sorry if you feel that I'm trying to pick up a fight, but I'm quite interested in marketing, so I get a little excited) wink.gif

OK I'll stop about copiing now. For all you kids at home: Copiing is not cool! Don't do it! Don't try this at home!

Copied games are classed as Warez. I think the only stuff that should be bought on Warez is the really extortionatly priced products like 3D Studio Max, although I still don't condone a course of action that will lead us to Warez (for non SW "Don't do warez, kids")
