DARTH_DANZIG
I think Ravensoft would get kind of irritated if you wanted to use their hilts in K3 . I don't think LucasArts would risk just porting names from one game to another, either. Too many people would know, and it just shouts "Hi, I'm too lazy to think of something new, so I'm borrowing material from a game we put out in 2003 that wasn't even from this era!" I don't think even LucasArts would do such a thing. Uh, I think the thing you're missing the key elements that make up the meaning of intellectual property. People who think up ideas for this thing owned by george lucas ultimately conform to his standards of business, and hense, add to the collection of use, IE names and concepts to be used for future projects based on the original works influence. Darth Avlectus
So LucasArts might, or it might not. Well, it all seems a bit debateable. Some of the stuff is out of the KOTOR era no doubt. But as for the rest--where the origins are not definative-- we don't really know for sure if, whether or not, some of these things exist in this era too. Or NOT. My hypothesis: They'll do a little of dragging their old stuff (in terms of OUR time) back out--but not all of it. THEN, they'll try to invent some new stuff. Moving with the times. Keeping up. Let us continue... BTW, RedHawke, That last line in my response was sarcasm... Please don't get peeved? I was actually hoping you'd humor me and joke around a bit. I can be gruff and insensitive calling people meatbags and somesuch, but I try not to be too scathing. C'mon, who'd be in place of lance vance? Who'd be his poor brother victor who gets whacked?
