how can i change the amount of credits i start out with in gc on the advanced games settings slider or just change the starter credits

If you use the slider in the advanced game settings menu on the GC selection screen, then that will change your starting credits. Alternatively you could modify the GC .xml file so that you can start with up to 1,000,000 credits I think and modify your opponents starting credits so that they have a disadvantage. However this latter method is a bit fiddly, so if you want i'll tell you how to do it, if not, just use the slider.
