And yet, despite the overwhelming influence of alien cultures, and the absence of a true homeworld and even species, their own language not only survived but changed little, their way of life and their philosophy remained untouched,and their ideals and sense of family, of identity , of nation were only strengthened. The rebirth of the Mando'ade

 

Alpha-02 was a member of the Grand Army of the Republic a army created from the template of the Mandalorian warrior Jango Fett to combat the growing Separatist movement that had been spreading through the Republic. Alpha-02 or Spar as he was better known amongst his fellow soldiers was part of the Advanced Recon Commandos a group of elite clones under the direct tutelage of Jango Fett whose task it was to carry out covert operations that where considered to dangerous for the regular troopers.

 

It was eight years after his birth when Spar started to have flashbacks of a life that wasn’t his own, memories of Jango Fett who had previously died at the hands of the Jedi knight Mace Windu on Geonosis plagued his dreams and he became obsessed with learning the Mandalorian culture.Spar deserted his birth place of Kamino and searched for information on the Mandalorians. His search took him to the planet Mandalore (Manda’yaim) where several thousand years ago the Taung warrior Mandalore the First (te sol’yc Mand'alor) had created the ancient Mandalorian Crusaders.

 

It was there Spar took the title Mandalore (Te Gayiyli Mand’alor) and founded the Mandalorian Protectors, a organization made up from local Mandalorian police forces and surviving members of both Jaster Mereel’s Super commandos and Vizsla’s Deathwatch,The Protectors became the main military of the Mandalore sector and protected its borders and the people in it. Soon enough the fighting of the Clone Wars reached the Mandalore sector and Mandalore the Resurrector sided with the Confederacy of Independent Systems (CIS).

 

The Protectors agreed to carry out covert missions for the Separatists, working as their secret police force. It was the Protectors who launched intense attacks on Kamino and New Bornalex, destroying the cloning facilities there. However, in the wake of the Republic blitz that ended the Clone Wars, the Mandalorian Protectors were decimated. Spar Survived the clone wars but was a broken shell of the man he once was, insane and crippled. He left Manda’yaim and was never too be seen again.

 

With the defeat of the CIS the Republic was soon reformed into the Galactic Empire and Manda’yaim without a leader was enslaved and control of the Mandalore sector was granted to Grand Admiral Miltin Takel. Upon returning to Manda’yaim, survivors of the Protectors Fenn Shysa and Tobbi Dala found it in the control of the Galactic Empire and the reptilian slave master Suprema. The two were accused of being criminals and outlaws for aiding the CIS. It was then Shysa and Dala started to recruit a new group of Protectors to help fight the imperial slavers.

 

About us.

OOC We are a group of mature Mandalorian RPers, who specialize in the culture and history of the Mandalorian people and follow the established canon as close as possible which means following Resol'nare without exception. IC we are the protectors of the Mandalorian people and its culture. A group originally formed by Mandalore the Resurrector and resurrected during the GCW by Fenn Shysa to help free the Mandalore sector from imperial rule.

How can i join?

 

To join the Protectors you must have a firm grasp of the Mandalorian history,culture and language (mando'a) you must also be at least CL22 as this is the required level to wear armour and shows commitment to your character.

 

There is a couple of profession restriction the first being we do not allow Jedi to join due to the long history between the Mandalorians and the Jedi OOC it has been decided that because Jedi are not capable of wearing Beskar’gam (An important part of mandoculture) they will not be permitted to join our ranks. Entertainers and Traders are both welcome to join.

 

Applicants are required to fill out the application form provided on the guilds forum as detailed as possible it will then be reviewed by one of the senior members of the guild who will then contact you on if you accepted or not.
