Without the demand for drugs, the economies of these drug-producing countries would most certainly be in peril, for not enough specie would be traveling into the country. In order to maintain a proper cashflow into these countries, to discourage a possible bust and boom economy, I say we let him take his drugs. While drugs may be killing his/her body, think of the children that purchase food from their payments from working in the opium fields. Doing drugs supports those little ones who do not participate in a legal means of commerce and/or agriculture. But still no matter who we are supporting, be it Santa Claus or Jim Jones, (heh, think if Santa was a cocaine smuggler), drugs will continue to kill. So, *pulling his message somewhere out of all of his previous crap* drugs are bad, but if those people like to take them, eh, I say let them go ahead. Natty Posted May 2, 2001 Posted May 2, 2001 I've got a friend on the net, well she was a friend, but she has an 8yo daughter and she does drugs, drinks, smokes and goodness knows what else in front of that child, I know she loves her child dearly, but I don't think bonging and getting smashed almost every night in front of her child is responsible. So the drug debate can work both ways, yes the dealers are able to feed their children, which is good, but also the buyers aren't just hurting themselves, they could be hurting family members/loved ones. scabb Posted May 11, 2002 Posted May 11, 2002 Drugs is a dirty word. People say that Drugs are bad, but who among is hasn't had alchohol or caffeine? I think that drug addicts have problems, but those who occasionally fill their pipes with cannabis are not sad, losers - Marijuana is safer and causes less problems than alchohol. Nicotine is just a pointless drug - It creates no effect, is harmful, addictive...pointless. Alchohol is great. Cannabis is greater, and will be legal soon. And to say "Drugs are bad" is kind of like saying "All black people are evil" - Sure, some are, but the majority AREN'T.
