Guest grannen Posted May 2, 2001 Posted May 2, 2001 Many of us doesn't have English as our native language and it has happend that we have been criticised for abusing it or not knowing the right expressions. I would like to know your 1. Native language. 2. Other languages you consider you can use in a foreign country, not perfect but relativly understandable. For instance, ask for the direction to a place, ask for the time, have a minor conversation etc. ------------------ and Grannen

Something about if you're willing to do something tonight ("Tonight, are you willing to ??? together with me?")... I'm not good with romanized Chinese, nor am I from the mainland, so I'm unfamiliar with the way they romanize Chinese. Don't tell me you were trying to do the Chinese version of Voulez-vous coucher avec moi çe soir... ------------------ "Are you telling me that 95% of the population is undateable?" "UNDATEABLE!!"
