Blondbeard
OK well basically i have 2 questions 1.For those of you with black & white,i know there are 2 covers one black and one white. Is there a difference between the 2, e.g Pokèmon RED and BLUE. and 2.Have any of you played 'Discworld Noir' i got it yesterday for £10 i THINK thats the same as 20 U.S dollars.Anyway if so wadda ya think of it.Is it a small game is it difficult etc.I haven't read any of the books though.(i know feral likes discworld) (if you have got discworld and have finished it don't mention anything about clues and what to do etc) ------------------
Guest The Feral Chicken
1 - No, there is no difference between the 2 B&W boxes (reversible sleeve). 2 - As an adventure gamer, yes, Discworld Noir is a good game. As a Discworld fan, no, Discworld Noir is not a good game (not a Discworld-ly enough setting, i.e. the game could be set on Earth and it wouldn't make a difference) ------------------ And download Gran Wrestling, you fool! Blondbeard
Feral, have you got the first 2 discworld games? i've never read any of the books(probably never will) and what are they like.I think once i played the first game on a demo CD on the PSX. As for Noir have you completed it,if so how long did it take? I read that Noir doesn't have hardly any characters from the books is that why you don't like it as a discworld fan? ------------------
Guest The Feral Chicken
Well, I have played the first 2 games. The first one was ludicrously hard. The second one was ludicrously easy. So don't bother (well, you might want to check out D2) I din't like DN because, like I said, the game isn't very true to the series (i.e. physics, characters, setting, etc.) and, like you said, not many regular characters are involved in the game, and those that are are either mis-interpreted by the developers or are just completely way off (Cmdr. Vimes being the prime example.) Nobby was spot on, though (apart from that he didn't have any cigs...) ------------------ And download Gran Wrestling, you fool! Click here. Rufio
the discworld series is pretty good in my opinion, i really like the british humor. but noir was WAY too dark for me and i justr could not get into it, i really liked the second in the dw series the best.
