Nethog
I searched these forums as well as Googled for an answer to my problem, but no-one has posted a solution to my multiplayer LAN issue. I also reviewed the 2 sticky threads regarding resolving multiplayer network issues. I have 3 computers lets say are called A, B, and C. All 3 computers are running Windows XP Pro, SP2. All have windows firewall disabled. There is perfect TCP/IP connectivity and NETBIOS connectivity between all 3 computers. All three computers are behind a router. When I host a LAN game on A, players on B & C can see the game and connect but are unable to select a side to play (their name is not even in the list). On A, I don't see the players on B or C in the lobby or in the host game window. If I type a chat message, B & C actually see the message. If B & C types a message I don't see it on A. LAN games work fine between B & C just not with A. If I host a game on B or C, A cannot see the game. I am at a loss as to identify the source of the problem. Does anyone have any suggestions? Does the game output a log file that I can review to look for connection errors?
PoiuyWired
Check your router? My guess would be some packets being blocked. There is also he chance that all three computers have the same SSID (you have to Walker if you ghost all three computers in the same lan or they do stupid things)

Could it still be blocking packets in this configuration? I don't know what you mean by all 3 computers having the same SSID. Could you explain please? Nethog
Well I found the solution to my problem. It was due to my Nintendo USB XI-FI adaptor setup which when installed turns on Windows XP Internet Connection Sharing (ICS) on my computer A's LAN connection. When I disable ICS from the connection multiplayer works fine.
