Email troubles...

Recommended Posts

The problem is, we have too many!

I have 2 email addresses, and so does my fiancée, plus another one or two we use to sign up for stuff but don't want to use our mains for...

How on earth could I get them all in one place?

I know MS is releasing Desktop Mail, but I dunno when and it doesn't help me now does it? Anyone got any ideas? I don't even know if it's possible to check web mail on a desktop app on your PC, does it need to be POP3-enabled or something?

On a slightly different note, I noticed I have tons of invites left on my gmail, so if anyone wants a gmail account (if everyone doesn't already have one lol), PM me and I'll hook you up. (I hope this doesn't count as advertising, just trying to be a nice bloke here)

If you want them all downloaded locally to your computer you can use Mozilla Thunderbird for checking your mail. Most mail providers worth the name provide either IMAP or POP3 access (gmail included). There you can set up a bunch of different inboxes for various email accounts in the same program.

Or you can just set up your other accounts to forward all incoming mail to your primary account. That way you'll only have to check at one place for new mail. :)
