Stuck with the message server

Hi all, just got the game the other day and I'm trying to get Dom to stop getting his messages right at the start of the game.

 

I can get inside the message server room and I've tried to block Dom's tube with the playing card but the air pressure is too high. What should I be doing instead? I'm a little stuck :s

pressure is too high! man dosn't that make you mad!? maybe you should get some aggression out...by punching something......[get the hint?]
