The Gray Jedi
Hey. Joined only a bit ago, however, I've been reading quite a few posts here and checking out alot of mods. I also have played through TSL around 8 times, though I can't stand to do DS usually (I still kill the remaining Jedi, other then Atris). XD Now for the questions. How long can a character model's hair be (e.g. Only to neck or Rapunzel length)? What are your personal favorite mod's? And finally, what general locality are you? (e.g. Utah, Ontario, Germany, etc...) Michigan for me. Thanks.
Master Demonius
welcome to the forums first of all about the first question i have no idea my favorite mods for TSL are The Ultimate Sabre Mod and Oldflash's Final Touch mod and finally i live in Pennsylvainia
glovemaster
I think that hair is proberly best at shoulder height, otherwise you would need to include animations and bones to make the hair flow, also restricting it to KotOR II. You wouldn't NEED to include the bones and animations, but it would look very unprofesional and would be like Revans Cape (stiff and legs pass through it). The Gray Jedi
So can a model with normally short hair have functional shoulder-length hair?
glovemaster
Yes but it depends, if the hair is too long it will pass through the shoulders when the head turns
The Gray Jedi
Ah, thanks. That works for a couple of my ideas. Now then, what is a good editing tool for KOTOR/TSL?
glovemaster
kotor tool covers most of the file types. what is it you want to edit?
The Gray Jedi
Mostly the color and other details of some robes and other items. Also some of the character's looks slightly. Mabye a couple more heads to choose from. EDIT: I tried to get KOTOR tool from the site, however, all I get is this: Warning: fopen(/webhome/starwars/public_html/kotortool/data/leech.dat) [function.fopen]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in /webhome/starwars/public_html/kotortool/download.php on line 395 Warning: flock(): supplied argument is not a valid stream resource in /webhome/starwars/public_html/kotortool/download.php on line 396 Warning: fwrite(): supplied argument is not a valid stream resource in /webhome/starwars/public_html/kotortool/download.php on line 397 Warning: fclose(): supplied argument is not a valid stream resource in /webhome/starwars/public_html/kotortool/download.php on line 398 Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /webhome/starwars/public_html/kotortool/download.php:395) in /webhome/starwars/public_html/kotortool/download.php on line 403 Happens on both Firefox and IE

The Gray Jedi
That's what I did. I was on the main KOTOR tools page and clicked the most recent version, however, it brought up that error when I did.

stoffe
Tried. Same error. It's beginning to annoy me. Make sure you don't have a browser extension or other internet security solution that blocks the HTTP REFERER header data (some download accelerators like GetRight or GoZilla do this as well). Otherwise the page will think you are following a direct link to the file from another site, which would result in a Leech error message like that (or rather, what should have been shown if you didn't get that PHP error instead )
The Gray Jedi
I don't use any download accelerators, so that's not it. I'm not quite sure where I would change the settings for the security either. Could you enlighten me? I use Firefox 1.5.
stoffe
I don't use any download accelerators, so that's not it. I'm not quite sure where I would change the settings for the security either. Could you enlighten me? I use Firefox 1.5. Do you use any firewall software or "Internet security suites" like Norton Internet Security, or similar? If not, what plugins do you have in Firefox? The only way I can see to get the errors you describe is if you have a missing or invalid (i.e. indicating another source site than kotortool.starwarsknights.com) HTTP REFERER header when you request the file. So if you use the download link on the KotorTool page something must be stripping your REFERER data. Also check that sending Referer data hasn't been turned off in Firefox. Type in about:config in the address field of a new tab, then type network.http.sendRefererHeader in the Filter box that appears. What value is this key set to? The Gray Jedi
Only Norton thing I have is System doctor. It's set to two. EDIT: Got it from Dad's computer. For some reason, he can fully see the page and can download the tool. Still want to know why my computer can't see the page properly or download from it.
