"That was a close one." Carth said to Revan and Bastila, when they came zooming out of the Star Forge as it started crashing into the sun.

 

Yeah, yeah, yeah... I know. Revan thought to himself.

 

"Revan... can I talk to you... in private." Bastila asked.

 

"Sure..." He said. "I'll bring some Juma Juice, then we'll make it a party."

 

Revan laughed, but Bastila didn't find it too funny and walked to where the two had shared their first kiss... her first kiss.

 

Revan followed her, wondering what she wanted.

 

"I will not lie to you... not anymore... the truth is, I love you... with all my heart." Bastila said.

 

"I love you too..." Revan said. "But... I feel something getting closer..."

 

"Stay with me... don't go anywhere." Bastila said.

 

"Alright... I'll stay... but I don't know for how long." Revan said.

 

"That's all I ask..." Bastila started, but Revan interrupted her with a kiss.

 

Bastila sat there in his embrace... knowing that he and she would have to confront the Council, to be thrown out of the Order, because they had defied them and fell in love. She knew that the Jedi's failings was their inability to attach themselves, to someone else. Bastila smiled... she wanted to live the rest of her life, in the arms of her lover and the one she loved, The Jedi Knight Revan.
