squiike Posted June 7, 2007 Posted June 7, 2007 when Manny's boss got sprouted, victor says something like "somhow i was expecting tulips....maybe manny eh?" why do different people get different flowers? lola get some blue ones, is that cause she was nice? ....and what happened to Eva? cant remember...
lipton Posted June 7, 2007 Posted June 7, 2007 Eva? she might still be running the LSA thats at least the last thing known from the game. And as for the flowers, The florist asked manny what kind of flower sproutella ammo he wanted (think it was baby breath/tears). Perhaps it goes like; Ya pay a little more and get whatever ya want, or you buy the echonomical solution and get a Misc. can
VampireNaomi Posted June 7, 2007 Posted June 7, 2007 The flower issue was discussed in this thread in the past, and there are many interesting points made there. I think that it comes down to the kind of sproutella that is being used because Salvador and Olivia were sprouted with the same sproutella and got the same flowers. Therefore, it can't have anything to do with how nice someone is.
lipton Posted June 7, 2007 Posted June 7, 2007 When you buy from the florist he asks what kind of sproutella juice you want. end of that
squiike Posted June 9, 2007 Author Posted June 9, 2007 When you buy from the florist he asks what kind of sproutella juice you want. end of that then why did victor say "i was expecting tulips...maybe mister calavera eh?"
VampireNaomi Posted June 10, 2007 Posted June 10, 2007 Maybe Hector didn't know how sproutella works, and thought the flowers were random? Or maybe Bowlsley had made him several different kinds with no name tags, and all he knew was that some of the darts would make tulips. The possibilities are endless if we start to stretch.
lipton Posted June 10, 2007 Posted June 10, 2007 Naomi is right perhaps Hector was using echonomy sproutella which is a misc from can to can
stewlil Posted June 11, 2007 Posted June 11, 2007 or maybe its just a mistake? I mean it sucks but yeh.
VampireNaomi Posted June 11, 2007 Posted June 11, 2007 Most likely they just put it there because it's a good line. It's not the only piece of dialogue in the game that doesn't make sense in the context.
