Xirion Posted June 7, 2007 Share Posted June 7, 2007 Heres my idea, in conjunction with Brenden Vandoley Over Corellia, a Imperial Fleet drops out of hyperspace, their goal is to help subdue Corellia and capture rumoured Rebel leaders. This is the plan: The Imperial Fleet arrives in system. *Imperial and Rebel players can engage each other in space, Rebels trying to stop Imperial transports from landing on Corellia, Imperials trying to escort troops and supply ships safely to the ground. After the fighting has died down, the Imperials eventually land and attempt to take over the star ports to allow more ships and supplies to land quicker. Again opposing factipon players can battle it out for control in one of the 4 starports on the planet. The starports will similar to GCW PvP bases. So faction control will be important! The fighting will spread to all the NPC cities, as Rebel forces try to repel Imperial landing parties and Imperial forces. Pilots Both Rebel and Imperial wil be needed. Imperial Pilots:Can dock with the Imperial Fleet, and help transport supplies to the surface, while aslo escourting Lambada Class Landing shuttles and other transports, keeping them safe from Rebel attacks Rebel Pilots: Your job would be to stop the supplies from getting to where they are needed. and to take down as much of the Imperial Fleet as you can, while you wait for the Rebel Fleet to be assembled and to arrive Bounty Hunters Take out their leaders! Imperial: Rebel Players who are helping the cause and stopping the Empire have been posted as bounties by the Imperial Command. Your job will be to eliminate Rebel leaders. Rebel: Rebel Bounty Hunters will have the option to remove Imperial players that are greatly helping the Imperial casue. Also once you remove your target, your target has an option of "Dying Wish" Where they can put a bounty on the Hunter who killed them. This will give BH an added interest, as you wont know who is after you, and the "Dying Wish" ability lets players help their faction out in their "Dying Wish" Commando Fight Fire with Fire Imperial/Rebel: Both faction Commandos can help take the fight to the enemy, you will be needed to help destroy faction fortications, troops, Antenna, and everything else that does not belong to your faction. Officer Imperial/Rebel Both faction officers will have the abaility to lead NPC troops, a max of three NPC troops at a time. and use these troops to help your faction out! Like PvP Bases the longer you hold them the better the rewards, the longer you hold the starport or the object the better the troops get. Medic Imperial/Rebel: Keep your men and women alive, you are an important part of this invasion, your help could mean the success or failure of a misson Smuggler Imperial/Rebel: Finally youll get to smuggle! Once a city is controlled by a certian faction, to get supplies into that city to help your faction, only you can do it! You will have the ability to smuggle resouces past check points and scans so you can help out. Traders Imperial/Rebel : Fortifcations need to be made, supplies need to be made, while you can still fight, do what you do best make stuff, barracades for troops to fight from, foods to help buff up the troops. Your goods can be taken across enemy lines by smugglers, if needed. We will also need weapons and armour, you will be able to create new weapons that have a max time limit, like turrets that can be placed in citys Entertainers Imperial/Rebel Entertainers, your job is to keep moral high, after the fight help them relax, you will also gain the ability to allow a small faction buff to your factions players to help them out in the field, if you preform in the cantina of the faction controlled city ( IE if the Rebels hold Vreni Island, you will be able to buff Rebel Players with w GCW Buff in the Vreni Island Cantina) Spy Imperial/Rebel: Do what you do best, go undercover and kill and destroy! Your goal will be to interferr with the enemy, you will get an ability "impersonate faction" where you will be able to switch to the opposing faction in apparence only, you will get the other faction symbol and appear as the same faction to them, theis ability will allow you to intercept plans, convoys etc and cause havok. Jedi Imperial/Rebel : Help the fight, you will be out there in the fight, helping take control of the cities, you will also get an ability to "inspire" other players, where if a jedi is fighting near you, seeing a symbol of hope, peace and justice, or imperial rule will give surrounding players a little lift. Fighting will vary from city to city, some days hot somedays a stalemate. For non aligned players you will have an ability to choose whatever faction you want to help once a day. While the fighting in cities will be a main stay, faction convoys will opperate outside of cities, troops taking supplies to the cities to help gain control. It will all end in a massive battle as the Rebel Fleet lead by Admiral Ackbar arrive in system to confront the Imperial Fleet. While the fighting in space will be the most important, a ground battle outside the rebel base will be another conflict zone, now its up to the players to decide whether the Imperials or Rebels win in the end. _____________________________________________________________________________________ I think i have covered all professions, and had a good bit of content in there to keep players happy and actually put the Wars back in Star Wars Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
