OpenGL issues

i have a Windows Vista

AMD64 live processor

2gig mem

and an ATI Radeon X1300 video card

 

i have installed K1 correctly using the run program as XP with administrator approval.

now the only big problem i'm having is the openGL thing.

the game self check tells me i have version 1.0.1 or something like that, installed.

and the game requires 1.4

 

i'm not sure how to go about updating my openGL....

if someone could take the time to carefully and concisely in step by step directions how to fix this problem, i would deeply appreciate it.

have you updated your video drivers?? i'm not sure how OpenGL works with Vista, but the latest version of OpenGL should be included with the latest drivers. also, i know that with Vista, new driver versions should be closely monitored due to all kinds of issues that are constantly being addressed with each driver update.

 

if you haven't updated your video drivers, make sure that you uninstall your old drivers before installing the new drivers.
