xrefusex
Hi, sorry first of all if this message is in the wrong forum! What I'm interested is in extracting audio (mainly dialogue) from either KoToR or TSL. I'm putting together a (hardcore/hiphop) band with a sith lords theme and would like to use samples from the game. How would I extract the audio from the game and what format does it come in? Are there any tools that allow to convert the game audio to wave or mp3? I'm not sure how to do this, if anybody has an easy-to-use guide, that would be very much appreciated! Thanks again! glovemaster
Im going to assume this is for Windows seen as you have having problems. For some reason Windows is stupid and things the sound files are .wav and they are infact .mp3. I think there is a tutorial around but im not sure, you need to get Miles Sound Tools from RAD and then you can listen to them, copy and paste the ones you want into another folder and rename the EXTENTION to .mp3. Then you need to go into Miles again and find the mp3 files and press "Decompress" on them to change them into a working .wav format. Hope that helps

I got the Miles Sound Tools package, but where are the in-game dialogue audio files stored? Cheers!
stoffe
where are the in-game dialogue audio files stored? In the StreamWaves folder (inside the game folder) for KOTOR, and in the StreamVoice folder for TSL.
