to this mod work is needed to start a new game ????

 

You can start this from any saved game. All you need to do is:

 

Activate the cheat console by pressing the ` key (located to the left of the 1 key), then type

 

warp sho_m63ac

 

To enable use of the cheat console, find the swkotor.ini file in your SWKotOR directory, then add the line

 

EnableCheats=1

 

under the [Game Options] heading. I would not advise starting a new game and playing this mod, because you will get wiped out very quickly. Your character should be at least Level 10, or have some serious Force Powers, or both.

I've got a warp script written that can be put into a character's dialogue. Currently, I have it on the cheatbot, but I can certainly customize it to any character.

Cool! If you will post or PM that script, I can trigger the mod from another part of the main game with relatively little trouble.

This could be a bit of a task but I'll say it anyway, are you planning on populating this planet yourself? If you aren't then maybe I will take up the challange and create a story line and a few side quests and populate it. Ohhh and add it to the Galaxy Map.

My initial intent was just to create a different visual experience with some Carnage and some new items. Since I am up to my eyeballs with the lower caves/tomb, I don't have the time to do any more populating of the existing levels.

 

Since various people seem to see some potential for "growth", I am more than happy to let you and others "have-at-it". PM me, and I will give you a link to the source materials. There are likely to be others involved, so I will let you coordinae your efforts with theirs as things progress.

This patch adds the lower caves (but not the tomb), adds a transition waypoint to the Shola Plains, modifies minimaps.

8/5/07: Due to the loss of the source files, and the fact that I can't get the KotorTool to extract the .mod files, this is as good as this mod gets. All four previously-released levels are now in the shola.zip file, which has been added to the first post as an edit. I appreciate all of the input and help that the other members of this forum have offered, and I have already started a new mod which will (hopefully) be better organized and include some more-advanced features.

I am adding this post to clarify a "permissions" issue.

 

Anyone who can figure out how to extract the .mod files has my complete permission to use all, or parts, of this mod for any legal purpose with the following conditions:

 

1) No violations of LucasForums policy, and

2) You have to tell me how you were able to extract the files. I have tried with no success. I probably did something wrong when I compiled them with the Kotor Tool.

 

I do not require any notification or "credit".
