NEW Official GB website launches

I for one do not beleive that it is official. I have a few reasons for this.

1. GalacticBattlegrounds.com has not come out. As snot-nosed democratic greedy pigs, we americans would make an official GB site (not on lucasarts.com) before one is made in UK. And seeing as LucasArts is based in California, I think this reasoning has some sentiment.

2. It has not been announced on LucasArts.com - Pretty much self explanatory.

3. The graphics suck. Look at lucasarts.com and galacticbattlegrounds.co.uk. Compare. Realize.

4. Fewer and lower-quality screenshots. Lucasarts.com has a much larger number of screenshots than this site. Also, the screenshots on this web site are ov varying quality. I do realize that lucasarts.com does have a few lower-quality screens, but there are far less than this web site.

These are just a few of my observations. Flame if ya want, but that's my opinion...

I agree but maybe the creators of the site asked Lucas Arts for permission to use the Name and screen shots. I have a funny feeling that Chris did that. He seems like the type who would take the time to interact with LucasArts. BTW, no.3, they could just be in the process of constructing the framework of the website and are moving towards graphics. :)

In response to the no. 3 response... The graphics are great, don't get me wrong. The design and layout of them arent bad, it's just the image quality that is the problem. For example, do you notice the odd invisible ripple around the stormtrooper's head?

No, i didn't, how could i notice it if is invisible :p

Anyways, i don't think that this is an Official site, it just doesn't have the look and feel of the LEC type sites.

Also, i'm pretty sure that Chris/Aristotle/LucasGames didn't make that site. If you look at the LucasGames network, all the sites have the same basic look and feel, and that site doesn't have it.
