Need help to get a gun correctly in the game

Hey ,

 

Just making some gun models . I got already one in the game , but ... BUT ,

its at the wrong place , somewhere down behind the knee .

 

Its looks rahter painfull when you start shooting :lol: !

Anyway I tried , to reposition the Pivotpoint to 0,0,0 in Max , used a ResetXform with and without saving the Pivotpoint , looked into the tutorial about making lightsaber hilts , so aligning the Pivotpoint of my new gun , with one of an old gun .

 

Things look fine an good in Max , but I get the feeling MDLops is doing something wrong , or I am doing something wrong in MDLops ?

 

Anyway , I tried several things and still the gun appears NOT in my character hands , but hoovers somewhere near .

 

So what should I do ? Any Helpfull tips ?

 

EDIT : This how it look in Max , nicely in place like every other orginal gun I imported .
