A little scripting help

i was getting a little bored so i decided to try and make a new force power for kotor based on drain. however i cannot seem to be able to take the existing death field source script and make it compilable i was wondering if anyone here could help me. it always was the trickest bit i found was taking the source and working from it, however the initial script does do mot of what i want my new power to do so i thought why try doing it from scrap.
