Slayter Posted October 28, 2007 Share Posted October 28, 2007 Hi guys... I have succesfuly installed the Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy. But when I want to launch it, my game chrashes to Windows without error. I just see a black screen for about ~2 seconds. When I was installing this sooner, it was running normaly. My PC: Intel P IV 1700 MHz 512 MB RAM 64 MB GFX My PC passed all the tests and I have the newest DirectX. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
DarthSeverus Posted October 28, 2007 Share Posted October 28, 2007 Do you have Vista, and is it the MP side of the game your trying to launch, as it does cause this problem. If this is the case, then right-click over the jamp (Jedi Academy Multi-Player) launcher and then run the game using the 'run as administrator' option that will appear in the menu, then it should run fine. •-BLaCKouT-• Posted October 28, 2007 Share Posted October 28, 2007 Hmmm, have you tried applying the patch? http://jediknight3.filefront.com/file/Jedi_Knight_Academy_Patch_101;20459 Patching the game changes the structure of the .exe files, which has been known to get round various crashing problems in the past.
