Trouble with superarmbands...

It seems no one helped me when i asked about how to make a wristblaster. I still haven't figured it out, and i'm having trouble makign other armband weapons too... I've seen this doen before, in the flamethrower mod, so how coem i can't do the same thing but with a different attack ability??? I don't get it. i just don't get it... How the heck do you make an armband for humans able to use droid abilities, and force power abilities??? I've tried everything. I've done everything i thought i shoudl do to make it work, by going to the item editor and choosing an ability from the activate item option... It simply won't work no matter what i do. now I'm tryign to make a Gravity Band, that can use the droid repulsor ability, and knockdown. it just doesn't work... What am I doing wrong?

It's not a simple "click, drag, click, done" type of operation. Making an armband is almost exactly like making a force power. You'll need to familiarize yourself with scripting and how the .uti files point to the spells.2da file.

 

Look at the template of an force shield armband in KotOR Tool and also in KGFF. Double click on the * row to add a new property in KotOR Tool and look at different fields. Compare what you see in KotOR Tool to what you see in KGFF and spells.2da.

 

After that take a look at the script tutorials and at the scripts behind the force powers and armbands in the game. That should give you point you in the right direction.
