BBO 1.8 trouble

Ok so I am using Windows Vista home I believe, and I downloaded 1.8, the one from gamespot.

 

After entering all the info I wanted to use, I hit start, and the window comees up saying loading, but then it closes, and comes back up again, and closes again.

 

It does this on and on until I hit stop on the server manager, is it my firewall maybe, if it is what ports do I have to open?

 

Also when I try to edit the Auto Announcments and banned words, it tells me that it cannot find the target or omthing like that, is that vista?

 

(BTW I am useing an imported setup that I grabed from my other computer, long story short the computer I got it off of cannot run it)
