Factions?

Well I am new to this game. I was wondering what is a really easy way to become a Rebel? Any easy quests or anything like that?

To become a member of a faction you have to find that factions recruiter, Imperial is located in Bestine on Tatooine, and im not sure where the rebel recruiter is, but you might try Anchorhead. Talk to them and they will ask if you want to join, accept their offer and your in. You have to be neutral or positive in your faction standing in order to join.

 

To get faction points, the main "Legacy Quest" has the ability to branch off into either faction, you can look up what you have to complete next by hitting "J" to pull up your journal and looking under the orange box titled Legacy Quest (click orange box to expand), there will be a point where you will be told to go speak to either a Rebel liason in Anchorhead or to an Imperial commander outside Bestine. This is a smart way to get into the faction of your choice since it's a long quest spanding over multiple worlds and when completed you will either be lvl 40 or very near it, and you will also get plenty of items and money to help you within the game.

 

Another way is to get into piloting, if you open up your world map "V" there are tabs on the side (orange boxes) that allow you to look up the exact location of the pilot trainers for each faction. Piloting is also very fun (one of my favorite things in the game to do) and will get you experience and ship parts which can be sold for a profit.
