end of unknown planet, crashes when entering ebon hawk

i don't know if anyone else has had this problem, but for some reason now my game (kotor1) will sort of crash whenever i enter the ebon hawk, after i'm done on the unknown planet. if i change the screen dimension settings, i can see part of the game screen, but nothing is happening, just me and bastila standing around the holo projector. can't move my character or anything, its just a big black box in the screen. can't remember if it happened after i installed one of my mods or not, though i don't have any installed right now.

 

PLEASE HELP!!

 

p.s. so far, its only happened while playing the game normally. right now i'm in the process of playing it as an administrator on my computer (don't see why that should make a difference, seeing as i already AM the administrator .....damn vista).

Check your override for any p_Bastilla00X.utc files (Can be 1-6) if you have any of these files you need to delete or remove them. They can cause the glitch you are having.
