[KOTOR] Some Korriban trouble

My game crashes whenever I try to enter Korriban from the Ebon Hawk or using the warp code. The game crashes on the loading screen after loading about 3/4 of the way. After it loads 3/4 of the way it stays on the loading screen until I have to use Task Manager to get back to my desktop. Here is my system check from my Best of PC version:

I have found what is causing the game to crash, and its my apperance.2da in my Override folder. Any way to fix this?

Edit it or get rid of it from the override folder.

But I need that to run most of the mods that I'm using.

What could've caused it to not be working then? Just happened outta thin air?

Well, I did install that Meet Athena head mod. But that has nothing to do with Korriban. The only mod that effects Korriban in my appearance.2da is Shem's Robes for Korriban Sith Students mod. And that shouldn't effect the landing area of Korriban. But I tried to warp to other areas on Korriban and the game crashes just the same.

 

UPDATE: I just removed all files/mods in my Override that have anything to do with Korriban, and the game still crashes. This is very confusing.

You might want to move any saved game files and mod files to a different folder temporarily and reinstall the game.

I was just thinking the same thing. I'll take your advice and try that.

 

UPDATE: I did reinstall the game, and nothing changed. I still can't get into anywhere on Korriban.

That's really odd. A clean reinstall should fix just about anything.

 

I'm assuming you patched it up? Pray that it was a bug or something if you didn't.

 

And it only happens on Korriban? Every other part of the game is fine?

I fixed the problem. I found that I had two .mdx files missing from my Override folder that were apart of Shem's Robes for Korriban Sith Students mod. It's a wonder how some model files can make a game crash.
