Birds acting funny in loading screen & Slight Performance Issues

Hey, i've searched the web and forum but didnt find any real help.

 

First of all: I'm a true gamer since a Kid, and played through almost all of the more famous games, but Psychonauts is probably one of my favourite Games of all time! Tim Schäfer schould do moore games, probably even a real violent one. Cause it would turn out extremly good when he would do it.

 

Anyway i'm coming back to problem. First of all: I have a Dual Core 4400 AMD CPU, 2 Gigs of Ram and a Geforce 8600 GT ... Now, the games runs almost without any Problem, but when the loading screen shows up, the birds act really funny, going all crazy on the screen. It looks like its fast forwarded. On any Website regarding Psychonauts i've read something about this, but i cant find it anywhere again. I would really like to know if there is a way to fix it, or why that is?!

 

Another thing is, the game really runs extremly good at 50-100 FPS, but one strange thing is, sometimes the game slow downs, even though the FPS is still perfect. I mostly have it when i look around with the cam. Why is that? Are both of the problems probably cause of my DUAL CORE Cpu ?
