theswinglord Posted August 28, 2008 Share Posted August 28, 2008 I'm running GF on a Windows XP machine. I applied the patch and have been running fine up until now. I just got onto Domino's base and have woken up at the desk. I go to talk to the children in the cage and ask what their name is. At this point, the music continues playing, but the children and Manny don't speak or move. I can't alt-tab out sometimes and this has happened to me at least 5 times. Has anyone encountered this? urluckyday Posted August 28, 2008 Share Posted August 28, 2008 Well, I suggest this all the time, but people really should try this if things don't work right on newer versions of windows. Run the program in "compatibility mode." For Grim, I'd recommend running it in Windows 95 or 98 compatibility mode... Lemme know what happens and then we can go from there... Tried using the method suggested in post #7 in this thread, and still crashing right after the first two lines from the kid. It's gotten worse even, it's completely locking up my computer.
