Serzus Posted September 19, 2008 Share Posted September 19, 2008 So, I got a brand new Saitek 290 pro (USB) to play XWA, along with a few other games if I can find their CDs (Mechwarrior 4, for instance), and while its recognized in the XP game controller thing, and I calibrated and tested it with Saitek's driver program, it continues to just roll down and left with no control ingame. My only guess is that its something to do with being a USB device? If so, is there a patch someplace that can fix this issue? EDIT: Aha, fixed it. In the windows game controllers window, there is an advanced button that lets you select a 'preferred' device. A PPJoy thing was selected rather than the ST290. Switched that and it worked perfectly.
