I'm trying to figure out what book cover, comic art, or poster that this Asajj Ventress image is from:

It is a painted image of her an Durge, and she is wearing a black and orange bodysuit. As far as I know, this is the only time she is shown wearing that outfit. I know that mjpb3 used it as inspiration for her Asajj mod.

My problem is that I can't find a better image than these two partial shots. I'm making my own Asajj mod, and I'd like to include this outfit (as well as her more recognizable ones), but I need a better source image to start from.

Wookipedia? Couple of drawings there.

Thanks, but I've already gone through every link in the "Appearances" section, and Wookieepedia just doesn't have a copy of the painting I'm looking for. I'm hoping that someone out there knows where it was originally printed. I thought that it might be a cover for Star Wars Insider, but I didn't see it there either.

A quick snoop of the Edmonton Public Library (http://www.epl.ca) reveals that they have a copy of 'The Art of Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones' listed in their catalog. That was one of the sources listed in the page for Asajj. Snooping around Wookipedia for Durge pointed to another book that had a picture of the two of them together. Doesn't look like the one you're looking for but that image came from 'Star Wars: Panel to Panel' Looks like the library has a few copies of that book as well.

It may turn out that neither book has the image you're looking for, but there ought to be some inspiration for something in there. Heheh.

Edmontonians unite!! :urpdude:

Thanks guys. I've already got "Panel to Panel", but I don't have "The New Essential Chronology" or "Art of Star Wars" books. I'll definately have to check those out sometime this week.

My plan is to modify the Revan cutscene armour to the shape of Asajj. It is a TON of work so far (especially warping the hood to look like her neck armour). Once that is done, I'll make four new skins (one for each of the standard Jedi robes: brown, blue, red, black), based on Asajj's various outfits. the main one (from "Panel to Panel") will be the base of the black one. There was also an action figure that used this outfit. The blue one will be based on the 2d animated Clone Wars, and the red will be the new 3d computer animated Clone Wars. As for the brown one, it will look like the more standard robe she wore before turning to the dark side (seen on the cover of her back story issue, and also in Panel to Panel). The one that I'm trying to find in this thread, is one that I'll use for her DS underwear (since it isn't used often in her canon appearances).

Don't expect it out anytime soon, since I've still got a lot of work to do for the Revenge of Revan mod (Atinah Vanis and others), and the re-modelling of the cutscene robe is tedious. I'm just trying to get a head start on finding that image reference.

thanks again :)
