The preset music that is played while gallivanting across the galaxy is sort of bland, and the music during combat isn't very exciting either. Any good mods out there to change these things?

I'm sure the Ambience and the Music improvements are compatible, while the Ultimate Sound Mod might not be.

 

And these mods were found on a quick KOTORFiles search. To quote InSidious from another thread:

FYI, they are compatible, the ultimate sound mod and the other two. I use them together all the time.

Is there anyway to get KSE to work when you have the file spells.2da in your override?

That's rather off-topic, but the quick answer is yes. Drop spells.2da into a subfolder within Override. Or just rename it every time you use KSE.
