plokoon87
Is there anyone who knows what value to edit in the config files to make the movies play at a proper resolution? When I play the game the movies don't cover my entire screen but are confined to the upper left hand corner of the screen. Any ideas?
DarthJacen
Yes, change your refresh rate to the default rate of 60 hz and see if that works, or reconfigure your monitor to stretch it to the entire screen. For example, my monitor has an auto resize button on it. So, when that does happen, I press that button, and the monitor will do it's best to make the new format fit. My monitor can play this game at 70, and 72 hz at 1280 x 1024, the problem is your movies are defaulted to 800 x 600 at 60 hz so, it confuses the computer. So, by reducing the refresh rate to 1280 x 1024 at 60 hz, I no longer have that problem because the refresh rates between the movies and the game line up. I hope, this helps. plokoon87
Unfortunately, my max res. is 1024x768. So that won't help. 60 hz is also the ONLY refresh rate that I have. Do you have any idea how I could edit it in RAD Video editor?
DarthJacen
I think, you can, just, write it into the swkotor.cfg file and it should turn on, I have kotor 2 set up where I can edit the resolution of the movies. It's a default part of the game.
plokoon87
What would I put into the config file?
DarthJacen
Sorry, it took so long to answer this, but I had to wait for my new graphics card! Anyway, try writing something similar to this in your swkotor.cfg [Display Options] FullScreen=1 Disable Movies=0 Disable Intro Movies=0 Sort Modules=1 Width=1280 Height=1024 BitsPerPixels=32 RefreshRate=72 Just change the width to 1024, the height to 768, and the refresh Rate to 60. See if that works!
