darthjantom Posted January 25, 2009 Posted January 25, 2009 (I'm sorry if this might be wrong place to ask but this was the first place that came to mind) I recently bought LEGO Batman for windows and every time i try to start up the game I get a warning from my virus scanner (Norman Security Suite) saying that it put a trojan into quarantaine. This happens every time I start up the game and I'm getting a bit worried. It says that it's a trojan called W32/malware.EIES located at Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Local Settings\Temp\CmdLineExtInstallerExe.exe Can anyone help me with this? I already sent an e-mail to the customer support of LEGO Batman.
Astrotoy7 Posted January 25, 2009 Posted January 25, 2009 Have you tried deleting that file in the temp folder? astro
darthjantom Posted January 25, 2009 Author Posted January 25, 2009 Have you tried deleting that file in the temp folder? astro I can't seem to find the file, it's like it's generated when the game starts up but them my anti-virus catches it immediately and puts it in quarantine. That said the game works fine, it's just that this happens every time I start the game up and I'm wondering if it might be possible that there is something wrong with the game itself. I tried searching the internet to see if anyone else had the same problem with LEGO Batman but could not find anything.
Astrotoy7 Posted January 29, 2009 Posted January 29, 2009 the temp file is a bit elusive>> firstly disable your AV proggie, (or start in safe mode): start> run > type in %temp% and have a squiz in there mtfbwya
