lessthan3
I've seen alot of pictures of holograms from other people's versions of the game, yet mine all look crazy, you see the eyes through the head of the characters, lines and things in the mouth. Exhibit A: (brightness and contrast turned up in Pshop as the picture was kinda dark) And that was a good one, other people seem to get this. Am I missing some kind of option to make it look better or what?
DarthParametric
No what you are seeing is normal. The way they make the hologram includes a partial transparency. That means you can see things like the backs of the eyeballs and the mouthboxes and other areas where meshes overlap. In that pic of Carth for instance you can see the top of his head through the hat and the back of his collar through his neck.
lessthan3
Okay, so theres no way to make it look like the recording is transparent, and not the actual people?
DarthParametric
No, because it isn't a video, it's just a normal model with partial transparency. You also see Bioware employ the same technique (with the exact same results) in Mass Effect.
