Gameplay Question

While playing Kotor every play threw I've had a glitch (once the screen blacked out while entering the beggining of Kashyyk after I hleped Freyer, this was fixed by restarting the game, another time All NPCS became hostile, this time trying to load or save the game the Yes or no option that pops up is blacked out, this was fixed by restarting the game. These usualy wouldn't bother me but on my Xbox version (on the Xbox360) I had a glitch where two times it would just freeze up then start back up then a third time it permantly froze and reloading didn't help it just froze at the exact same time, and all three times were at the same area. Well when I loaded up Kotor around the area I had the freeze up/lag glitch on Xbox 360 I had minor lag, less then on the 360.

 

So could the glitches I've been having on the Best of the PC version of Kotor be leading up to the problem I had on the Xbox version, my disk has minor scratches and is only a year old.
