Dark Obi-Wan Posted March 30, 2009 Posted March 30, 2009 Please tell me that I put this in the right forum!!!!! My question, I do not have internet at home but I am online at work with my laptop every day. I was wondering if I could get online from my laptop and purchase/download Xbox 360 game content, and upload it to my 360 via CD/DVD/USB Drive? Or do I have to do that from my 360 only? I have tried googling this and was not getting any where. I have done this with my Xbox 360 update and used my USB Drive to install it, which is why I am asking if the same could be done with game content.
urluckyday Posted March 30, 2009 Posted March 30, 2009 To my knowledge...you are unable to get game content on the 360 unless it downloads it directly from the marketplace. You can select what you want to download on your console from xbox.com...but that just makes it download it the next time the system connects to the internet. Hope this helps!
Dark Obi-Wan Posted March 30, 2009 Author Posted March 30, 2009 You can select what you want to download on your console from xbox.com Are you meaning I can select what I want offline? In a way it seems a little stupid that they would allow you to log on to their website from your PC and add points, download updates etc. but not let you download game content.
urluckyday Posted March 30, 2009 Posted March 30, 2009 ^Yeah. All you can do is choose what you want your 360 to download. It makes sense, but I agree w/ you. They do need people to not put games on multiple xbox's or something like that...and if you're not on Live, there's no real way to stop that.
