Having trouble playing Grim on my AMD/ATI-based laptop

OK, this is my configuration:

Model: Fujistsu Siemens AMILO Notebook Pa 3553

Processor: AMD Turion X2 RM-72 2,1 GHz

Chipset: AMD 780G

Graphics: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3470 Hybrid X2

All drivers are up-to-date, and the game has been pathched.

First, there were lines running through the characters, but I managed to get the game working in software mode by turning off Catalyst A.I. in ATI Catalyst Control Panel. However, when I turn 3D acceleration on, at certain points the game either crashes completely or the screen goes blank, flickers several times and displays something like this:

Does anyone have some idea how I could work this out? Thanks.
