Where does Maloof go after you break him out of the GPC but before you go to braintum

So when you get Maloof out of the GPC he walks off with Mickael, but he isn't with him if you go find mickael. So where does Maloof go!?!?! Does he just dissapear off the face of the game until you get to the next part. Cos i really want to find him I MUST SHOW THE RED BUTTON TO EVERY SINGLE PERSON!!! IN WHISPERING ROCK!!!!!!
